Leaving your fur babies behind is not an easy decision, we know! And we want your fur babies to feel as comfortable as possible at The Pawsitive Pets’ headquarters, or by having us drop by your home while you are away.

At our headquarters

At Maria Eugenia’s home, your dogs (or cats!) will be able to roam around freely (and even sleep on the bed!). Our headquarters are ample in space, and although there is no backyard, there is plenty of green space outside for us to go on long walks. The streets around us have very low traffic, which is great for fearful dogs. Furthermore, Marcela’s home is less than two blocks away! It has a huge fenced-in backyard- and we love to go over there and let the babies’ off-leash for a while. We set up games and toys, and why not add some light training sessions if they are up to it?

Some rules and suggestions

We take in dogs and cats that get along with chill dogs (aka Molly!). We highly recommend a meet and greet with you and your fur baby a couple of days before their stay so we can all feel comfortable and at ease.

Unlike other pet sitters, we only take in one family pet unit at the time- if you have multiple animals, we will take them in, but we will not take in other family’s pets. This gives us the opportunity to give your furry baby exclusive attention (and love!).

We ask you to please disclose if your dog or cat likes to chew on furniture or things. If your pet is crate trained, please bring their crate. Crates are great for anxious pets, and giving them their own private space in an unfamiliar place can help them feel at ease.

All sizes and sexes are accepted. We prefer animals that are house-broken, but if they are not, wee-wee pads are mandatory.

We will be in touch with you on a daily basis or as frequently as you ask. We will send you photos and videos!

We can administer your pet’s medication as indicated, and we ask that you leave your vet’s contact info and emergency contacts.

Leashes and harnesses must be provided by the owners. If you do not have a good leash or/and harness, you can purchase one from our product store.

Food must be provided by the owners as well as treats if they are allowed.. All allergies must be disclosed.

Pricing

Starting at $50 per night for dogs, $45 per night for cats.

We have special prices for extended stays. We also provide pick-up and drop-off services for a fee.

These prices include one adult pet. Our prices are customized to you and your pet’s needs. Please contact us to get your free quote.

Drop-ins

If your fur baby feels more comfortable at your own home, we are more than happy to visit your pet at your home a set amount of times in a day. For dogs, this includes a walk if required.
