These are us!
We are Marcela and Maria Eugenia, mother and daughter who decided to start following our mutual passion: animals, especially dogs and cats. We believe that responsible and loving pet owners need a safe place for their furry family members when they are away from home, as well as an education and guide when a new dog becomes part of the family.
Marcela.
Marcela is a Certified Cognitive Emotional Dog Trainer, certified at Educan, the most successful European company on the market for dog training, behavior modification and certifying trainers. She is a member of International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC).
Marcela is a Miami-Dade Animal Services volunteer since 2017, while also volunteering with rescues and rescue transportation since 2011.
Maria Eugenia.
Maria Eugenia (Maria or Euge, your pick!) loves animals from a young age. She has fostered and pet sat countless animals since 2010, ranging from animals in perfect health conditions to ones who could barely walk. She has plenty of experience with senior dogs (including administering medications and injections).
Maria Eugenia is the host at The Pawsitive Pet’s headquarters in South Miami, Florida along with her dog, Molly. She also does drop-ins at her clients’ homes as well as house sitting at clients’ homes.
Molly.
Molly is 40% Chihuahua, 12% mini Pinscher, and 100% adorable and sassy! Maria Eugenia adopted her from Mutty Paws Rescue in June 2020. Molly is very calm and loves cuddles, sleeping, but mostly, food. Molly gets along with dogs, cats, children, you name it! She is our dog hostess at Maria Eugenia’s home.
